If you have already chosen Belgrade as your next destination now it’s time to find a good place to stay where they won’t rip you off to provide decent service and a peaceful place to live in. 

When considering important factors like proximity to shops, store hours, potential nightlife, and cultural attractions, we always recommend choosing accommodation in or near the city center. Prices in these areas can often be steep, so opting for a hostel or private apartment can save you a fortune while still providing comfort.

The best tip is to always select accommodation based on your needs, but for those who find the search exhausting, we did a little research for you.

So, where to stay?

We looked for a quiet place in central Belgrade with affordable rates and good ratings—turns out, it was quite the adventure! After some serious searching, we found a hostel about 15 minutes from the main square, tucked away on a peaceful street.

Here’s what we liked the most:

The bed rates were very reasonable – they offered special prices for weekly and monthly stays, and even had special offer such as giving away 1 night for free for short-term stays.

There is unlimited amount of coffee and tea, free for everyone! Even though you still have to make it yourself (don’t be lazy now..) It’s a nice touch and a pleasant reminder that not every business is trying to squeeze a penny out of you for just breathing air.

Service that blown our mind is definitely doing the laundry. Both washing and drying, can be done for the total of 5 euros! And as if the price wasn’t already the lowest we found, but they also do it for you – your job is only to bring it to the reception. Now that’s how you save time and money!

Small downside we noticed is that since the hostel is located in the center, there aren’t many parking options available. You can either use street parking or find a private parking spot. However, the hostel can offer you a spot in the garden if you’re riding a bike or motorcycle.

In the end, what we loved most was the event they host weekly – a free dinner for all guests. It’s an excellent opportunity to socialize and make new friends.
